Our school director is a former U.S Army Sergeant and a Retired Law Enforcement Officer. He is certified by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services as an unarmed General Topics and a firearms instructor for armed guards. He is also certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) as a Handgun and Shotgun Instructor.
We offer job referrals as a BONUS upon course completion and application for New York State Security Guard License.
As a security guard, you may work in banks, hotels, hospitals, retail stores, restaurants, bars, schools, building-management companies and night clubs. Please Note All Bouncers in night clubs and bars must have NYS security guard license
***We will give you an application and walk you through the entire process (step by step) to acquire your New York State Security Guard License. There will be absolutely NO confusion how to apply for your Secutity Guard License.

This definitely an excellent security guard school. I received my 8 and 16 hour from Blackhawk. I now have my security guard license and i am working with a very good security company. Instructor was great and he really knows his stuff. I highly recommend
